it takes a village to raise a child
LIV village
South Africa is my (Leigh) homeland, and never far from my heart. A small way we help from afar is support one of the many organisations doing amazing work to tackle the orphan crisis in this beautiful land by helping nuture these children in a sustainable way. There are currently about 2.5 million orphans in South Africa, and many more children are vulnerable. About half of this number is because of the AIDS pandemic.
LIV Village, situated in my hometown, Durban, provides holistic, residential care for orphans and vulnerable children. They place vulnerable, parentless children into a family environment where they receive unconditional love, spiritual discipleship, care and nuturing. All there physical needs are met. These children are tomorrow's future, so the manner in which they are raised will influence who they become. LIV has the goal to become a self sustainable village through farming and enetrprise.
We help where we can with our time, resources and finanace. To find out more, or to get involved, please visit www.liv-village.com

Fighting for our oceans
Sea Sheperd
The ocean is such a large part of our lives from which we gain so much pleasure and peace, that it would be crazy not to give back by supporting those who are standing up for our oceans.
We donate a portion of the sales of Chris's personal work to the Sea Shepherd, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organisation, committed to the eradication of pirate whaling, poaching, shark finning, unlawful habitat destruction, and violations of established laws in the World’s oceans. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.
